We are currently recruiting for an Employment Associate to manage a caseload of complex employment tribunal work and provide employment law advice. This role will be closely aligned to working with a specific client in the public sector.
The role is based in either our Liverpool or Birmingham office and is offered in line with our Hybrid Working Policy. The firm supports and encourages flexible working arrangements.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of employment work – predominately complex discrimination and whistleblowing employment tribunal claims
- Provide strategic employment law advice
- Management of client relationships with key stakeholders
- Recording and reporting client management information and trends
- Conducting advocacy in preliminary hearings
- Work in accordance with client and internal SLAs
- Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values
