Locum Planning Lawyer – Part Time – Up to £60 per hour (umbrella) – Remote – Initial 3+ months - Midlands Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a
Midlands-based Local Authority who are seeking an experienced
Locum Planning Lawyer to join the team on an interim basis.
The Role: Position: Locum Planning Lawyer
Working Arrangement: Part time
Rate: Up to £60 per hour (umbrella)
Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension
Onsite Requirement: Remote, committee attendance is desirable but non-essential
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of Planning Law
- Advise on S106 agreements, alongside all other related matters
- Support the planning team and liaise with Council officers to assist with relevant projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Attend Planning Committees as required
About You:
- Experienced Planning Lawyer
- Local Government/Public Sector experience is essential
- Ability to attend planning committees as required is highly desirable
