Job Description:
Venn Group's specialist Executive/Interim Division are delighted to be partnering with a Local Authority in the North to support them with the recruitment of an Interim Head of Legal Services and Deputy Monitoring Officer. To be considered for this position, candidates will need to be able to start in post within the next 2-4 weeks.
This assignment is offered for an initial 6-12 month contract pending permanent recruitment into the role. The position can be worked on either a 4 or 5 day per week basis and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office up to twice per week.
Leading a multidisciplinary legal team, the ideal candidate will be a strong people manager who has significant experience of leading large teams within a Local Authority and has operated at either Deputy Monitoring Officer or Monitoring Officer level for a number of years. There will also be the opportunity to support the Monitoring Officer on a number of high level Governance matters.
A rate of up to £600 per day via an umbrella company can be considered depending upon your level of experience.
