Job Title: Locum Solicitor - Property

Job description: We are recruiting for an experienced Property Lawyer to join a North West based Local Authority on a part-time, locum basis for an initial period of 3 months (with potential to extend further).

Ideally, the successful candidate would be willing to travel to the office on a fortnightly basis, but fully remote can be negotiated.

The successful candidate will:

• Handle a general caseload of Property matters with minimal supervision
• Liaise with external law firms that are handling the outsourced regeneration projects
• Provide advice and draft documents in relation to property matters including (but not limited to) routine sales (purchasing and selling council owned land), Section 106 agreements, landlord and tenant, freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals, development agreements

 
Salary: £55 per hour
Hours: 22.2 per week (3 days)

The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Solicitor with previous Local Authority experience. The Council are looking for someone immediately.
