£43,693 - £46,731 per annum

Due to a significant increase in commercial property support across the Council, we are looking to appoint a full-time solicitor in our Commercial Property team.
 
We are seeking to recruit an experienced qualified Solicitor or Barrister to join our Commercial Property team.  You will have in depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of property law and you will be capable of:
  • Advising clients on a wide range of high-level complex cases in relation to property law.
  • Ability to handle high caseload with little supervision and able to deal with all aspects of Landlord & Tenant work, sale & purchases and all other aspects of property law.
You will need to be skilled at providing concise and clear guidance, be well-organised and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We would particularly be interested in anyone ’who has worked in the public sector and has had some exposure to Compulsory Purchase Orders, Enforced Sales and development work.

Calderdale will reimburse the post holders required professional membership, annually.

We may utilise digital interview methods.
