Locum Commercial Property Solicitor – North West Local Authority – Hybrid 

Role: Locum Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: North West (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Initial 3 Months (Ongoing)
Rate: £55 - £60ph, umbrella

Venn Group are working with a Local Authority in the North West that are seeking an experienced Locum Commercial Property Solicitor to join their legal team on an initial 3-month contract. This is a hybrid working role offering flexibility, with the view of becoming a long-term arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including leases, licenses, acquisitions, disposals, and landlord and tenant issues

• Advising internal departments and stakeholders on property-related legal issues

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents

• Supporting regeneration and development initiatives where required

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with substantial commercial property experience, ideally in a Local Authority setting

• Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload

• Knowledge of local government law and procedures is desirable
