Compliance Solicitor

Nottingham City 

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Negotiable, indicate rate sought (Umbrella)

Criteria:

• Full time with office attendance 1 day per week (this is a non-negotiable minimum).
• Solicitor
• Experience and knowledge in data protection law.
• local gov experience preferred or experience of working in a similar large organisation.
• experience of managing their own caseload.
• experience of litigation/police matters/wider legal procedures 
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and preparing data-sharing agreements and contractual provisions on data security, and risk assessment capabilities in assessing legal risks associated with data processing activities.
• Expertise in advising on breach investigations and incident management, including regulatory engagement, including interactions with oversight bodies and compliance assessments.
