Planning Lawyer – London – Competitive Hourly Rate – Hybrid Working
Position: Planning Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: 3 month ongoing contract
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working- one day a week attendance
Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate
Venn Group’s legal team are working with a
Local Authority based in London in their search to recruit a
Locum Planning Lawyer. The ideal candidate for this role will be either an experienced
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who can demonstrate having a wealth of experience handling planning and regeneration matters.
Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is
significant relevant experience.
Duties shall include:
- Having ownership of legal files on behalf of local authorities, housing associations and schools
- To provide advice and representation in relation to planning and regeneration matters
- To attend meetings and court when required
- To build good working relationships with clients and colleagues within the legal practice
- Deputise for senior lawyers when required
