Locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer – North West - Remote Working – £60ph umbrella

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in the North West on an interim basis.

This is a full time position, to start at the beginning of June, offered for an initial term of 3 months and is subject to likely extension thereafter. Fully remote working is available.

An hourly umbrella rate of up to £60 is offered for this post.
 

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Specialising in procurement, contracts and development projects
• Protecting the interests of the Authority by advising upon, drafting and negotiating legal agreements
• Providing expert legal advice to a variety of clients in-house across all directorates
• Completing contracts on behalf of the Authority
• Advising on legal matters affecting a public body more generally
