Locum Senior Contracts & Procurement Lawyer - South West - Remote Working – £60-£65 via umbrellaVacancy Ref: BRF8-81768 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in the South West on an interim basis.
This is a full time position, offered for an initial term of 3 months and is subject to likely extension thereafter. Fully remote working is available.
An hourly umbrella rate of up to £65 is offered for this post.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Specialising in procurement, contracts and development projects
- Protecting the interests of the Authority by advising upon, drafting and negotiating legal agreements
- Providing expert legal advice to a variety of clients in-house across all directorates
- Advising on contracts and procurement work in the changing environment post Brexit
- Completing contracts on behalf of the Authority
- Advising on legal matters affecting a public body more generally
