Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a well established local authority in the North East who are requiring a Childcare Lawyer to join them on a locum basis. Initially, this will be a 6 month contract. As an organisation they are hugely flexible, and they are able accommodate to someone working either part-time or full time hours.

The role is home based, though attendance is required for court. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to join a large, vibrant team and wanting to develop their skillset.

The responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer include:

  • Managing a caseload of public law childcare cases
  • Drafting legal documents
  • Attending meetings, as required
  • Conducting advocacy
