Job Description:

Litigation Legal Officer - Disrepair

£20 - £35 umbrella per hour

Locum, on-going

London based, hybrid working (mainly remote)

Sellick Partnership are working alongside a highly-respected London Local Authority to recruit to a Disrepair Litigation Paralegal opportunity. The successful candidate must have experience of handling a caseload of Disrepair matters.

You will be paid between £20 - £35 (umbrella rate) per hour, dependent on your experience. There is opportunity for you to work predominantly from home with the expectation of occasional office attendance. This is a locum contract, offering an initial 3 months, but likely to be long-term.

Key responsibilities of the Disrepair Paralegal:

  • Handling a caseload of disrepair matters from initial instruction to completion
  • Attending court to issue proceedings
  • Preparing and reviewing disclosure packs
  • Monitoring case settlements
  • Related legal administrative tasks

Required skills of Disrepair Paralegal:

  • Experience handling a caseload of disrepair matters (Essential)

The client is open to any candidates who have held a disrepair caseload whether that be in Private Practice, Local Government or a Housing Association. On offer is flexible, predominantly remote working and a competitive hourly rate.
