Senior Housing Lawyer & Disrepair Project Team Leader

A forward-thinking and friendly local authority in London is seeking a Senior Housing Lawyer to lead a new Disrepair project team. This is a locum contract for a minimum of 3 months initially, with a view to extend.

The council is creating a new Housing Disrepair team to bring some outsourced workstreams back in-house. They are seeking an experienced Senior Housing Lawyer to come on board and lead this team by supervising Legal Assistants and handling a caseload of more complex disrepair cases.

You will be joining a welcoming and cooperative team, and you will be well supported by the Principal and Deputy Principal Lawyers in leading and building the new Disrepair team.

This is a full-time role for 36 hours a week and office attendance is required one day per week. To be considered, you will have extensive housing disrepair experience and some prior experience of managing or supervising staff.

This is an urgent requirement so they are looking to appoint a locum Senior Housing Disrepair Lawyer as soon as possible, therefore applicants will ideally be able to start immediately or within a few weeks.
