Interim Assistant Director and Deputy Monitoring Officer

6 + Months

Yorkshire

Hybrid working

£700-900 a day

Sellick Partnership are delighted to be supporting an excellent client of ours in their search for an Assistant Director and Deputy Monitoring officer to join a local authority. The role will be for a minimum period of atleast 6 months but with the liklihood of extension.

Our client is looking for someone who can assist with the following:

- Leading and management of Legal Services

- Attending Committees such as Education, Adults and Charity and Trustee committees

- Assisting with recruitment

- Governance and DMO advice

This role is offered on a hybrid working basis with the expectation of attending the office twice per week. Due to the nature of the role, the client needs someone on a full time basis. However candidates working a 4 day week would be considered.

This role is suitable for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with Monitoring Officer Experience or Deputy Monitoring Officer Experience wanting to step up gained within Local Government.
