Locum Adult Social Care Paralegal – Predominantly Remote Working – up to £25 per hour umbrella – 6 months + – Midlands

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are pleased to be recruiting for a Locum Adult Social Care Paralegal to join an excellent Public Sector Organisation in the Midlands.

This assignment offers a predominantly remote working arrangement with occasional office presence required and will be for an initial period of 6 months, subject to likely possible extension, on a full-time basis, however part time hours may also be considered.

Experience in Deferred Pay Agreements is needed as the successful candidate will be focused on progressing all aspects of the Deferred Pay Agreements.

Duties may include:
• Handling matters in relation to Deferred Pay Agreements with minimal supervision
• Provide legal, clerical, and administrative support to the Social Care team of Solicitors and Fee Earners
• Administrative tasks such as preparing bundles, updating and delivering them to court and parties
• Undertake a variety of adult protection related activities under the designation of the Solicitors
• Case management, concerning court of protection and deprivation of liberty matters
• Day to day liaisons with Social Care teams, courts, external partners, private practitioners and other bodies
• Legal research using primary and secondary sources and presented findings and conclusions
• Collating evidence, preparing court applications and continuing the document management of court cases
• Direct contact with the legal fraternity including Judges, Barristers and Solicitors

An hourly rate of up to £25 per hour Umbrella will be considered for this position dependent upon experience.
