I am currently working with a local authority  who is looking for a Contracts and Procurement Solicitor on a fully remote locum basis.

The successful locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer will be handling a diverse range of procurement, contract and governance matters including:

• Collaborative procurements
• Joint ventures
• Council owned companies
• Frameworks
• Dynamic purchasing systems
• Construction projects etc.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (Supreme Court of England and Wales/English Bar) or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent; 2-3 years PQE in procurement and contracts
• Applicants with less PQE including Newly Qualified will be considered if they can demonstrate relevant experience
• A team player; someone who models the Council's corporate values of respect, dedication and collaboration.

The role will primarily be remote working and within IR35 but with an incredibly competitive rate.
