Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Contracts & Procurement Lawyer with hands on experience working within a Local Authority.
The ideal candidate will have experience of Construction, including, but not limited to:
• JCT and NEC Contracts
• Provide legal advice and assistance on Contracts, Procurement, Corporate and Commercial Law, Data Protection and Competition Law
• Provide advice to Council on the implementation and application of GDPR in respect of their Contracts
• Act on behalf of the Council in respect of the procurement of various contracts including contracts.
• Advise on the interpretation of Contracts and other legal documentation and responsible for carrying out complex drafting and the execution and completion of contracts
