Anti-Social Behaviour (Housing) Lawyer – London – Competitive Hourly Rate – Hybrid Working
 
Position: Anti-Social Behaviour (Housing) Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: 3-month ongoing contract
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working
Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
 
Venn Group’s public sector legal team are working with a London based Local Authority in their search for a Locum Anti-Social Behaviour Lawyer.
 
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has experience of handling a caseload of anti-social behaviour (ABS) matters and providing legal advice on all aspects of ABS law. In addition the candidate must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the law relating to the conduct of local authority Civil Litigation and Housing Tenancy Management law.
 
Duties shall include:
  1. To undertake a caseload of anti-social behaviour matters which includes providing legal advice and drafting complex documentation
  2. Prepare cases and appear as an advocate on behalf of the Council in Courts, Tribunals and Inquiries
  3. To undertake litigation arising out of the exercise of the Councils anti-social behaviour/housing functions including judicial reviews
  4. To meet the chargeable hours target for the post and the agreed performance and standards as fixed by the management team
