Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate (DOE) Venn Group’s public sector legal team are working with a
London based Local Authority in their search for a
Locum Anti-Social Behaviour Lawyer.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has experience of handling a caseload of anti-social behaviour (ABS) matters and providing legal advice on all aspects of ABS law. In addition the candidate must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the law relating to the conduct of local authority Civil Litigation and Housing Tenancy Management law.
Duties shall include:
- To undertake a caseload of anti-social behaviour matters which includes providing legal advice and drafting complex documentation
- Prepare cases and appear as an advocate on behalf of the Council in Courts, Tribunals and Inquiries
- To undertake litigation arising out of the exercise of the Councils anti-social behaviour/housing functions including judicial reviews
- To meet the chargeable hours target for the post and the agreed performance and standards as fixed by the management team
