Job Description:

Sellick Partnership would love to hear from Planning Lawyers with availability to pick up a locum assignment for a reputable London council.

This is a locum contract for an initial 3-months with the view to extend. The post holder will need to attend the offices in South London occasionally, but can mainly work remotely.

The council based in South London are looking for an experienced Planning Lawyer to handle a caseload including:

  • Section 106s
  • Providing planning advice
  • Section 278s
  • Highways agreements and advice
  • Enforcement
  • Judicial reviews

The succesful Planning Lawyer will be a qualified legal professional with relevant legal experience. Ideally they will have local authority experience but this is not an essential requirement.

The council are looking for someone to join them on a full time basis but they can be flexible based upon the Planning Lawyer's availability.

This is a great opportunity offering fantastic flexibility, as well as a competitive rate, interesting work, friendly team and is remote-working. There is no requirement to attend Planning Committee.
