Locum Prosecutions Lawyer

London Borough Council

Hybrid working arrangement

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Prosecutions Lawyer to work within a well-regarded London Borough Council on a locum basis.

Our client is looking for a Locum Prosecutions Lawyer with some local authority experience to join their friendly and welcoming team.

This role is offering an initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to be extended. This is a full-time role and the successful candidate will have to attend the office twice per week and attend court as and when needed.

The main duties of this role include handling a full caseload of prosecutions matters including:

  • Planning
  • Education
  • Environmental Protection
  • Trading Standards
  • Environmental Housing issues

Our client is seeking a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with previous experience working in local government as a Prosecutions Lawyer. The successful Prosecutions Lawyer will be joining a friendly and supportive team within a well-established local authority and will have the opportunity to work on an interesting and diverse caseload.
