Civil Litigation Lawyer – East Midlands - Remote Working 

Vivid are working with a local authority in the East Midlands who are looking to bring a Civil Litigation Lawyer into their team on an interim basis.

You will be given the opportunity to work remotely, on a 6 month rolling contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

The Role:

The Civil Litigation team acts for the Council in a broad range of work across all Council services.  We are looking for a locum who specialises, or who is at least competent and confident to handle complex commercial property disputes (both as prospective Claimant or Defendant), in addition to other, more general, civil dispute work, including contract and insolvency disputes.  Please note, the civil litigation team currently works flexibly and whilst attendance at Court or some in-person meetings is occasionally essential, the role will be predominantly home working.  Therefore, candidates must be comfortable and confident working independently, in this way.
