Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer
12 month Fixed Term Contract
London, Hybrid

£56,022.00 - £59,313.00

Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer is required to join a well-regarded council on a fixed term basis. This is a great opportunity to join this highly respected Central London Council. The Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer will join a supportive and welcoming team.

Senior Lawyer responsibilities of the role;

  • Provide expertise, knowledge and advice on all matters relating to litigation, advising on evidence and procedure and the conduct of any trials.
  • Conduct a full range of work types in this area of work to include housing law and debt recovery.
  • Utilising skills and experience gained within a similar position, you will report to the Principal Lawyer (Litigation) and will have your own complex and varied caseload

Senior Lawyer will;

  • Hold a Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX or similar qualification
  • Have experience in civil law and procedure, preferably in a local government context
  • Excellent knowledge of the law and practice in this area of law
