£39,782 - £45,591 p.a. + Market Forces Payment of £2,500 p.a. + one off welcome payment of £3,000 (pro rata for part time)

37 hours per week (consideration will be given to applicants wishing to work part – time hours of at least 22 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hertfordshire County Council. Significant growth is planned for the county and this means an interesting and varied workload for our Environment lawyers.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Lawyer to join our Environment Law Team. You will be a qualified solicitor/barrister/chartered legal executive, ideally with local government experience but that is not essential. We are keen to hear from you if you have experience in Planning and/or Highways law, with excellent drafting skills and the ability to manage a wide ranging and challenging caseload of planning, highways and rights of way matters.
