Salary per annum, pro rata: £25,463 - £32,233 (pro rata)

Job share post for 2 days per week (14 hours 48 mins). Fixed-term contract for 18 months.

A great opportunity to join our legal team and carry out your own caseload in highways and planning law.

We are a busy, friendly and well supported in-house legal team, conveniently situated in the centre of Gloucester. We provide high quality legal support and advice to our clients. As a result of a reshape of Legal Services we are looking to recruit a lawyer to work 2 days a week as part of a job share arrangement.

The successful candidate will work within our Legal Services Infrastructure Team advising on primarily highway and road traffic law for example section 38 and 278 agreements. Experience of planning law (including section 106 agreements) will be an advantage.

We are looking for a Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEx with significant experience in highway law (although we will consider those will less experience). You will carry a case load in conjunction with your job share partner and will be willing to work flexibly.

Are you an excellent communicator, well organised, analytical and able to meet tight deadlines? If so we would like to hear from you. In return you will have the support of a committed and experienced team around you.
