Salary: £33,136 - £35,229 per annum

Warwickshire’s Democratic Services team sits within the Law and Governance Division of the Resources Directorate. At the very heart of the organisation, the Service is responsible for managing the Council’s democratic processes, working closely with all elected members and providing support to both the Executive (Cabinet) and Overview and Scrutiny functions.

The Role
We are looking for a confident, proactive individual with excellent communication skills to support a range of council meetings, including the Warwickshire Police and Crime Panel, an Overview and Scrutiny Committee and single topic task and finish groups.

Key Requirements
We are looking for a confident, proactive individual with excellent research,  analysis and communication skills to support Overview and Scrutiny Committees and single topic task and finish groups.

As well as being able to consistently meet deadlines, you will have strong influencing and interpersonal skills in order to deal with a variety of people at all levels in and outside the Council. You will also be able to work flexibly and have a positive approach to problem-solving.
