£21,255 to £26,910 Per Annum

Thurrock Legal Services is an innovative service which places service delivery and value for money at the centre of our work. We have internal as well as external clients and you will have the opportunity to work under senior members of staff covering the council’s contentious and non-contentious work. This post is advertised by Thurrock Legal Services and primarily based in Grays, but you may also have the opportunity to work with our shared collaborator London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in their Barking Offices.

As a Trainee Solicitor, you will have completed the Legal Practice Course and be available to undertake formal training and qualify as a solicitor in accordance with the Law Society training standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain an understanding of local government law across all disciplines under the supervision of experienced staff. This is a fixed term appointment for two years.
