The Post
Due to the departure of the current head of our financial litigation team, we are looking for a new Senior Commercial and Financial Litigation Lawyer to lead a team of 6 lawyers undertaking financial and commercial litigation.

The team has an excellent reputation within and beyond the council for cutting edge work in complex financial litigation areas such as recovering of adult social care fees and other complex local authority related debt recovery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage this high performing team and further develop its expertise in in broader commercial litigation areas.

The Person
The successful applicant of this exciting post will demonstrate substantial relevant experience in commercial and financial litigation and their ability to provide specialist and proactive legal advice on complex and often urgent matters.  They will need to be highly organised and a proactive and effective negotiator able to find innovative approaches.
