Leicestershire County Council legal services is well established and has over 45 fee earners providing a comprehensive range of legal services to the County Council.  People like to work for us due to our flexible working arrangements and in return our staff are willing to go the extra mile when service needs require it.  We have a reputation for growing our own talent through training and development wherever possible and as such we have a low turnover of staff.

Following an internal promotion, the Environment and Property team are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to a Legal Assistant post on a permanent basis.

The role is primarily focussed on the drafting and negotiation of highway and planning agreements, highway notices, licences, road traffic orders and Rights of Way orders. You will also be required to provide assistance to team members in relation to highway and planning matters.
