Adult Social Care - Permanent 37 hours

Leeds City Council is looking to recruit a full time permanent Principal Legal Officer to carry out Adult Social Care legal work as part of an experienced well regarded team.  

The successful candidate will be a solicitor or barrister entitled to hold a practising certificate or FCILEx (or equivalent legal qualification) who will work as a member of a lively and busy team of lawyers involved in a stimulating, challenging and rewarding area of law.

It is essential that the successful candidate has knowledge of the law relating to adult social care matters, experience of litigation and advocacy, and of providing advice to clients on complex matters.  The successful candidate should also have good interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise their own workload and work to tight court deadlines. They must be enthusiastic and be able to work flexibly as part of a team.
