LGSS Law Ltd is an innovative social enterprise law firm providing legal services to the public and not for profit sector. We have grown significantly in recent years and in addition to our head office in Huntingdon, we have branch offices, in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire (Shefford) and Cambridge. We pride ourselves on giving high quality, comprehensive and affordable advice to our many clients, who include local authorities, health bodies, charities, schools and housing associations across the region.

We are looking for a proactive and self- motivated Lawyer to lead and develop a highly regarded team within LGSS Law Ltd. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial matters such as contract, procurement and company law. The role requires proven ability to lead and motivate others and a commitment to working for clients in the public and not for profit sectors.  

We are seeking an applicant with demonstrable people skills to manage a team including Lawyers and Paralegals as well as managing Trainee Solicitors placed within the team.  We are looking for technical abilities across procurement and commercial/contract law and an enthusiasm for the challenging and rewarding diversity of work that brings.  

The role is based primarily at our head office in Huntingdon but will also involve regular travel between our three branch offices and client sites as necessary.

Public sector experience is highly desirable however those with public law experience from within private practice are also encouraged to apply. If the chance to play an integral part in this increasingly interesting but challenging area of law excites you, we would like to hear from you.
