Sellick Partnership are assisting a reputable London Borough in recruiting an interim Principal Contracts and Procurement Lawyer. This will be a locum contract for an initial 6 months with a view to extend on a rolling basis.
The successful Contracts and Procurement Lawyer must be a qualified Solicitor/Barrister, have experience in Local Government, and ideally be able to attend the office in London. However, they are open to considering candidates that require remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry a caseload of contract and procurement matters
- Provide expert advice to relevant committees, panels, working parties and other meetings as required
- Co-ordinate and manage complex legal project and casework with, and on behalf of, clients including case management, casework, and advice, advocacy in Contracts and Procurement Law
- To undertake management of all staff within areas of responsibility
