Childcare Lawyer - Merton, London - Local Authority role

Contract initially until 31/03/2026, may be extended

Hourly Rate: Negotiable (Umbrella)

35 hours per week

Hybrid working. In office attendance required once a week at one of the following locations: Kingston, Twickenham, Wandsworth or Merton.

1. Experienced childcare solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales. (Must have practising certificate)
2. Full time.
3. Dealing with mixed caseload including care proceedings, EPOs, Secure/DOLs applications, Pre-proceedings PLOs and JR matters.
4. Advocacy at straightforward case management hearings and other uncontested hearings required.
