Senior Information Officer

£20-25 per hour

North West

Full Time/Part Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Information Officer, offering you an exciting opportunity to support the information governance processes of the local authority. The role is initially for 3 - 6 months with the possibility of extension.

As Senior Information Officer, your work will be varied across the whole range of information governance activity and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Particular focus on support Freedom of Information and Data Protection processes
  • Co-ordinating response processes across all the directorates in the Council
  • Preparing responses for those requests requiring public interest considerations
  • Ensuring the Council complies with the associated statutory requirements and deadlines for performance

Local authority experience is preferable however our client may be happy to consider experience gained in other sectors.
