Locum Planning Lawyer – London – Attractive Rate – Fully Remote – Part time
 
Locum Planning Lawyer
£49.33 per hour (umbrella)
Local Authority based in London
3 months initially with the possibility of an extension thereafter
15 hours per week, fully remote
Venn Group is working with a fantastic local authority in London in their search for a Planning Lawyer on an Locum basis for an initial 3-month role (with the potential to be extended)
 
Requirements:

• Qualified legal professional with experience in Planning Law
• Strong knowledge of highways agreements, S106 agreements and general planning matters
• Ability to work independently and assist with both routine and complex agreements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
To support the legal team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Handing car-free undertakings and small sites agreements
• Providing legal advice on highway agreements, over-sail licences and rent and nomination agreements
• Assisting with s106 agreements, including day-to-day matters and more complex cases in collaboration with senior lawyers
• Offering general planning legal advice to the borough and ensuring legal compliance
