The RoleAre you looking for a role where you can make a real impact on the preservation and guardianship of our wonderful landscapes and cultural heritage? A post that will help us to protect our national park for future generations? If so then this post could be for you. We are looking for a Senior Lawyer – Planning & Enforcement Support, to help us safeguard the future of our national park. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert legal advice and representation in matters related to planning, development control and minerals planning.
About YouYou will need to have a strong legal background in Planning, with thorough knowledge of law and procedure relating to Town & Country Planning and planning enforcement, having experience of undertaking all aspects of work under the Town & Country Planning legislation including undertaking advocacy. Experience in minerals and waste would be advantageous. You will need to be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Chartered Legal Executive with advocacy practice rights, or equivalent, entitled to practice in England and Wales, along with a current practicing certificate.
