The Regulatory Department is very diverse, offering a broad range of expert advice to local authorities, NHS bodies, police forces and schools, as well as organisations and individuals facing Health & Safety, criminal and other regulatory prosecutions.
This national role is a hybrid role. You will work with our police clients to make a difference to victims of stalking, domestic violence and sexual harm supporting the police to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). You will be part of our national police law team.
We are seeking passionate and self-motivated paralegals/legal execs/solicitors to provide high quality advice on a range of queries on operational policing matters.
- Provide advice to police officers
- Liaise with the courts, respondents and police by email and telephone
- Manage a caseload of matters with support from admin or colleagues
- Draft various court documents including court applications
Any experience in the VAWG space is desirable but not essential

About YouIdeally you will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We also require you to have/be;
- Be self motivated and able to work to deadlines with a busy caseload in a sometimes fast paced environment
- Be able to provide written and oral advice in an easy-to-understand way
- Organise a workload and work collaboratively with others eg other solicitors, courts, counsel and clients
- Maintain a case manager diary and action lists;
- Achieve financial and chargeable expectations
- Excellent time management and organisation skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise;
- Ability to work to strict deadlines;
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative;
