We have an opportunity in our Corporate & Environmental Law Team and are looking for a solicitor/barrister to join our award-winning Legal Team. We’re a friendly team and can promise that the work will be challenging, varied and rewarding.

The role will involve advising on contracts and commercial law, public procurement, education and local authority governance, including supporting the Council on major projects.

The role is open to lawyers experienced in these fields but may also suit newly qualified lawyers or those looking to expand on their legal knowledge or experience. Previous experience within a local government context relevant to the role being applied for is desirable but not essential. You must however be able demonstrate that they have a keen interest in working in the public sector and a willingness to learn new areas of law.
