This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor/barrister or member of CILEX to join our busy and friendly team of legal professionals.
You will be primarily responsible for providing Housing Advice, including handling
litigation relating to Anti-Social Behaviour of tenants or those visiting their households, possession proceedings, housing injunctions and disrepair.
You will also advise on and deal with regulatory matters on behalf of the Council.
The work is diverse and includes involvement in a number of high profile and exciting projects.
As an integral part of a professional legal team delivering legal advice and support to all aspects of the Council’s services, you will be a positive and highly motivated person who is confident, versatile and innovative.
You will be a team player, have a flexible approach to work and be able to provide a
degree of mentoring and training to junior members of the team. You will be a strong
communicator with excellent analytical and drafting skills and the ability to manage a full and varied caseload.
