£48,989 - £52,593  (plus 10% market supplement)  

Location: Westgate, Barnsley, South Yorkshire (This would be the normal base of work for this role, however, due to the current Government guidance around social distancing and our evolving ways of working, this means that you may be required to work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.)

This post requires a Basic Criminal Record Check

Prospective employees will be required to give a reasonable account of any significant periods (6 months or more in the past 3 years) of time living abroad.

Pensions Regulations have provisions to reduce pension payments in certain circumstances of those who return to work within local government service.

If you are in receipt of a pension upon commencing employment with the authority, this may affect your pension entitlements and you should therefore seek advice from the relevant Pensions Authority.

For the team leader position you should have experience in at least one of the areas covered by the team – commercial (ideally), property, planning and/or major projects.

You should enjoy working collaboratively, be keen to use your managerial expertise to develop the service and the support it offers to internal and external clients.
