As Lawyer (Commercial), your duties will include:
- Dealing with contractual matters
- Advising on procurement and related matters such as subsidy control
- Handling your own caseload of complex matters
- Supporting business development initiatives
- Supporting junior members of the team with their case loads
- Provision and development of first-rate legal services
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant and detailed experience of legal casework, legislation and policy in relation to contracts and procurement
- Experience in legal work in local government/public sector
