As Lawyer (Commercial), your duties will include:

•     Dealing with contractual matters
•     Advising on procurement and related matters such as subsidy control
•     Handling your own caseload of complex matters
•     Supporting business development initiatives
•     Supporting junior members of the team with their case loads
•     Provision and development of first-rate legal services

To be successful in this role, you will need:

•  Significant and detailed experience of legal casework, legislation and policy in relation to contracts and procurement
• Experience in legal work in local government/public sector
