Newcastle City Council’s Children’s Services were rated as good by Ofsted following an inspection in December 2021. The CSC Team in Legal Services deals with the full range of children’s social care matters, with the main element of work being care and placement proceedings but the Team also advises on fostering, adoption and other children’s social care matters.

As Team Manager, you must have extensive recent experience of childcare matters. You will also ideally have recent experience of managing or supervising staff. You will lead, manage and motivate the Team to provide an efficient and effective service.
