Job Description:

£19,099 - £22,129 depending on experience

The social care legal team are recruiting a full time legal professional support. The role will include supporting and assisting the children’s and adults’ social care legal teams on a variety of matters. The successful candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive professional support to lawyers in the team which can include coordination of cases in a case management system, audio digital typing, electronic filing, preparing bundles and administering the Legal Social Care Inbox.
 
Additionally, you will provide support to other areas of the Legal Service when required such as assisting with post and sealing.
 
The successful candidate will be efficient and have a basic knowledge and understanding of social care legal work. They will understand the need to work to deadlines and how to prioritise work. They will have a good understanding of case management systems and Microsoft applications.
 
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales, are a must. You’ll be confident, adaptable and flexible and be ready to work collaboratively as part of an experienced team.
