Job Description:
£45,648 - £51,645 pro rata The role is part time - 25 hours per week A vacancy has arisen in the Litigation and Debt team within Legal and Business Operations. The role is for a litigation solicitor and is within the litigation team comprising a senior solicitor, and another solicitor. The team also incorporates the debt collection team. The role involves prosecution work for the enforcement teams at Southampton, employment advice and tribunal cases, all aspects of licensing and contractual disputes. The role will also include working flexibly across all people and courts areas of law including undertaking and advising on linked litigation and advocacy matters within, and with support from, the wider team. As well as Southampton City Council the post holder will advise Fareham Borough Council on all matters under the legal Partnership as well as some work for Eastleigh Borough Council. Additional information This post requires a Standard DBS check. For any posts that require a DBS check, if you have lived outside the UK within the last 5 years, you will be required to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct or a police certificate from the country/countries you have resided in.
