£41,381- £43,785 per annum (Inclusive of London Fringe Weighting) Package: Generous holiday entitlement - outstanding 18.5% employer contribution pension scheme - flexible working patterns - car salary sacrifice scheme An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister in the Council’s Legal Governance Section. The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced litigator and have recent experience of conducting civil and/or criminal litigation in the County Court and/or Magistrates Court, be able to work on his/her own initiative and give advice on a wide range of contentious legal issues. Extensive experience of housing litigation would be an advantage. Ideally, you will have a “can-do”, attitude and enthusiasm for learning new areas of Local Government law. You will be expected to work with minimum supervision. You will be joining a friendly team in a progressive Section with a good reputation for its service and commitment to staff.
