This is an exciting opportunity to join the successful Commercial and Employment Team, with the ability to work flexibly and remotely for one of the largest unitary authorities in the country, in one of the most sought-after regions in the UK.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Lawyer on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a great opportunity to join our team and to make a difference through supporting on a range of exciting and innovative major projects in Cornwall.
These include Spaceport Cornwall, and a number of renewable energy projects, such as Wavehub, Geothermal and Biomethane.
Our work is varied and includes:
- Major infrastructure projects
- Joint ventures and development agreements
- Subsidy control, funding and loan financing
- Housing and economic development
- Contract and procurement advice and drafting
- Company law
- Aspects of employment law including TUPE, pensions and advice on restructuring services.
The team acts for the Council and the Council’s group of companies. We also act for academies, town and parish councils and other public bodies.
We are looking for a talented individual who is highly motivated with a focus on achieving excellent client satisfaction. The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Lawyer.
