Job Description:

Adult care law involves Court of Protection proceedings, Mental Health applications and advice on all aspects of the Care Act 2014. Do you have experience in this field or can you evidence good transferable skills (including advocacy) to move into this growing and ever-evolving area of the law?

Is this the exciting new challenge you have been looking for?

Famous for its stunning cathedral and impressive castle which still functions as a court dispensing justice as it has for over 900 years, the medieval quarter is a great contrast to the lively and youthful feel of this university city. If you are looking for an opportunity to work in a beautiful city with something to offer everyone, grasp this exciting opportunity and come and join our adult care legal team.

We care about our staff so we want to offer you a competitive salary, generous holidays and access to our pension scheme. It is important to us that you have an excellent work/life balance and the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills in a supportive Local Authority setting where no two days are the same!

The council has a smarter working policy which does provide some flexibility between home and office working. This post does however require some office attendance and attendance at any court hearings which are not dealt with remotely.

Please call us for an informal chat as Helen Glover on 07917 553677 is keen to hear from you.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on the 24th and 25th February 2022.

Relocation expenses may be considered for this position.
