We require a Planning, Environmental Health & Licensing Lawyer to represent the Council at Magistrates and County courts, inquiries, appeals and tribunals.

The ideal candidate will have a professional legal qualification with experience in presenting cases; advocacy skills and preferably with an expertise in planning, licensing and environmental health law

The Borough of Pendle lies in the heart of Lancashire’s beautiful Pennines and is within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District national parks.

Pendle Council offers a good work-life balance, including Flexitime with no core hours, 2 days flexi a month, compressed working options and up to 30 days annual leave.

To maximise flexibility the Council has adopted an Agile Working Policy which covers hybrid, home and fixed working.
