We are seeking a lawyer (up to 4yrs PQE) at Associate level with experience of working with or for local or central government clients, who has worked in house for a local authority/combined authority/central government department or who has other public sector experience or has experience working in private practice with a firm acknowledged for its work with the public sector advising local authorities/combined authorities/central government departments or other public sector clients.

In addition they should have a desire to specialise in commercial contracts/procurement work but also have a willingness to provide advice on other areas of law affecting local or central government clients/the public sector such as governance and corporate.  The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an enthusiasm for this area of work and a willingness to undertake a varied workload together with working as an integral part of the Firm's Local Government team to continue to grown and develop the Firm's offering to its public sector clients.
