Job Description:

£41,978 to £48,133 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Lawyer to join our dynamic team providing legal advice and support to the Council as a Specialist Lawyer –Litigation and Employment The work will cover a wide range of;-

-civil litigation in the County and High Court covering housing, contract disputes, injunctions, Judicial Reviews
-criminal litigation in Magistrates and Crown Courts covering environmental cases, planning enforcement, licensing
-advising Licensing Officers and Licensing Committee
-providing support on major projects within the Borough.

You must be a qualified solicitor, barrister, legal executive (Fellow) or equivalent with practical knowledge and understanding of complex contract work and procurement matters.
